We serve the manufacturing units throughout United States and overseas. Our international clients send the sample to ensure that the products/ components and assemblies are manufactured to the requirements of their clients in the United Sates. These services are provided at various stages such as:

• Quality control of batches at predetermined intervals
• Failure Analysis

The manufacturing industries fabricate products using both conventional and advanced manufacturing technologies. Failures can occur during manufacturing or while the product is in service. ITS has conducted failure investigations for numerous product support and manufacturing operations, studying a wide variety of components and equipment, such as springs, pistons, forged parts, and conveyor systems.

Our clients are manufacturers of fasteners, heat treaters, electro plating shops, military equipment makers, manufacturers of miniature components for electronic industry, transport containers, valves and fittings. A large number of our clients from this industrial segment have manufacturing facilities in Asian countries such as China, India and Korea.

Samples for testing are sent to us by one of the following means:

• Sampled by Client during their visit to these countries
• Sampled by local ITS inspectors/ surveyors in these countries
• Sampled by the manufacturer of the part/ component/ assembly

In addition to our regular services, we also perform complete product testing. We analyze the component for both its compliance to various ASTMs and its intended usability.
