We have inspection capabilities conforming to various API, ASME, BS, ISO, DIN, AWS, and ASTM standards / codes. We can also offer services conforming to the customer’s own specifications. The following is a list of some of the services rendered by our Field Inspection Services (FIS) division:

Documentation

Documentation is a thrust area at ITS and the company ensures strict adherence to its documentation procedures. The nature of inspection services is such that its reports form vital information source for both the client and the company. Needless to say that reporting formats and report hard copies have to be meticulously presented and archived as per international standards.

ITS goes one step further. Apart from standard inspection reports, it also provides special reports and recommendations, when requested by client.

Field inspectors are trained in reporting skills, and are evaluated from time to time on this front. All inspection report formats are designed meticulously to give a clear, lucid and comprehensive presentation. Information regarding each inspection finding and service rendered is presented in full detail so that the client gets value for his money.

Additional Reporting:

ITS also provides additional reports giving its recommendations and special remarks, as well as such specific reports that the client may require. All special reports are certified by our quality inspectors and verified and attested by representatives of the client before submission. Multiple copies of the reports, as required, are given to the clients.

Archives:

Copies of all inspection reports are maintained at the nearest base office. A master copy and report charts are sent to our archive department at headquarters for storage. API recommends that inspection reports and graph charts should be maintained for 6 months with the Inspection Company. It is our practice to maintain hard copies for a period of 36 months.

Personnel Database:

The company also maintains a database record of its field personnel with regard to their personal resume, experience, training programs undergone, next training due, and performance history. Copies of all qualifying certificates of each staff are also maintained.

Technical Library:

ITS has a comprehensive library of specifications, guidelines, journals, brochures, and publications pertaining to the field of Non-Destructive Testing, Mechanical, electrical and pipeline industry practices. Our library is constantly updated with the latest API, ASME, AWS, ASTM, ISO, NEC, NFPA and a multitude of other standards. It also maintains correspondence with equipment manufacturers and R & D bodies. Effort is made to maintain the latest publications in this library. As a result the company keeps abreast of latest technological advances and practices and implements them at the field level in due course.

The Training cell of the company periodically publishes technical data charts and tables for the use of field personnel. Useful technical data charts are also given as compliments to the client’s personnel from time to time.
